What's your sales philosophy?+
Sales that lasts isn't about the pitch, it's about understanding what the account actually needs and building the case to match. Every quota I've hit came from treating the number as the outcome of good process, not the goal itself.
Tell me about a deal that didn't go as planned.+
Early at Taboola, I lost a self-service upsell I was sure would close. The prospect went quiet for three weeks. I followed back up with data instead of pressure, a benchmark showing what similar accounts were leaving on the table. They came back, and that became my default move for any stalled deal since.
How do you like to lead or coach a team?+
I coach the way I sell, no script, just principles. Running a 15-person team at Mongoose Atlantic, the reps who improved fastest weren't the ones I gave more calls to close. They were the ones I let sit in on my live calls, so they could hear the reasoning behind the moves, not just the outcome.
What are you looking for next?+
Somewhere I can own the full revenue picture, not just one slice of it: pipeline, forecasting, and the relationships that make the numbers real. I like building the system as much as running it.
Off the clock
A few things I'm just as invested in outside of work.
I'm as devoted to Denver Broncos football as I am to Baltimore Orioles baseball, with a smaller but genuine soft spot reserved for the Ravens and Mets. I love attending sports of every kind — stadiums are basically my second home.
I picked the game back up as an adult and I'm chasing master-level play through chess.com's coaching program, one lesson at a time.
I'm building real fluency with AI, working through Anthropic's Claude courses to go well beyond surface-level prompting.
I serve on the board at my synagogue, Bay Ridge Jewish Center, running marketing and programming on a volunteer basis — community matters enormously to me.
There's nothing like watching a film the way it was meant to be seen, so I make a point of catching movies in the theater whenever I can.
I'm an avid LEGO builder, and lately I've moved past the instructions to start designing my own original sets.
